D-Day arrives against all odds

(Against all odds) the stickers are on the car, the branding is on the kit, my lucky New Balance 875’s have arrived, Hannah is innoculated against every imaginable evil and most of the goodbyes have been said. I cant wait to get going now! 1 more sleep! (Although of course it is impossible to sleep.) Running kit, food, camping stuff, bike spares etc are exploding out of ammo crates all over the house but will miraculously be bullied into some semblance of order by 1.30 tomorrow.

I went for my last restful run yesterday morning, offically recorded my starting weight (62kg) and took my “before” picture. Very curious about the “after” ones in 5 months time. Hopefully see you all at Nahoon tomorrow at midday?

[noteblock]I have cleverly arranged to set off at nearly full spring high tide and will almost immediately have to haul out my dri bag and swim across the Nahoon River! Yeehaaa![/noteblock]
