Day 16 – Touchdown Durban

52 km day mostly on beach at spring high! A great relief to touch the South pier of Durban Harbour 🙂

Being officially in Durban is a huge milestone. It was quite a moment to touch the South Pier this afternoon after 52km of hectic running with the last 30km along from the beach at Amanzamtoti via Isipingo Beach, along the Bluff (via the military zone!) all at what seemed to be full high tide. I had Pete and Dave (Scud) for company for most of the day which was awsome. My legs are very tired and I am looking immensely forward to my rest day on Saturday.
[noteblock] Huge thanks for all the messages and support!. [/noteblock]
